Shopping Haul: Dollar Tree May 2015

It's been a while since I've posted, and in the midst of cleaning out my laptop I thought I'd go ahead and share a shopping haul I just absolutely love from my local Dollar Tree! Now I can't tell you exactly when I picked up this haul but I can tell you it was only $7.42! And while these items may seem random, I actually have a purpose for them all (mostly magical).

From left to right, top to bottom I purchased: a glass taper candle holder, a circle candle mirror, pack of four white emergency candles, a package of gold birthday candles, a package of silver birthday candles, a black journal with lined pages, and a matching red journal with lined pages.

I've already filled up the red journal, completely burnt one of the white candles,  used another for a magical craft, and used a few of the other products as well.  

Binderizing: DIY Family Operation Manual - Day 3

Another must for any operation manual is a pencil case! I love to use this Five Star brand triple pocket pouch to hold all of my ultra fine sharpie pens for color coding the master calendar. :) Of course any ol' pencil case will do, and it really doesn't even have to have the three ring holes to insert it in the binder. 

I also keep a few highlighters, pens, and forever stamps in there just in case I need them. I usually keep a small pair of scissors, a pad of sticky notes, and a few business cards in there too but they're not picture.

Now that I have my tabs labeled, I can add some printed templates to help everyone stay organized. I created my own pages (free to use, links below) but you can use someone else pages or make your own and use those instead. :)

Today I added to following pages to my binder:

There are two ways to use the free printables above. You can print and hole punch them then simply put them right into the binder, or you can print and slide them into clear page protectors then place the page protectors in the binder. By using the page protectors, you can use a wet or dry erase marker and save on printing supplies!
